The 6 x 19 classification of wire rope is the most widely used. It has good flexibility and wear resistance. It can be suited to the specific needs of diverse kinds of machinery and equipment. Common applications include wire rope slings, boom pendants, winch lines, and hoist ropes.

Class 6 x 19 wire ropes are not rotation resistant. Do not attach a swivel as the rope will unlay itself.
